Animal prints are a staple of the textile industry, making them a challenge to interpret in new ways. Our team set out to find the: “joy” with one of this seasons most popular themes, the zebra print. Here was our process.
With the trending interest in the market for classic florals and toile’s we began work on a collection of florals where we could marry softness with bold colors.
We were challenged to bring into play some of the classic aesthetic that textile designer Morrison is famous for and re-interpret it into a more modern aesthetic. As big fans of his legacy we embarked on a journey to where we’d center the print on one of this classic themes: fruits.
